Deep in the hills of southern Indiana, a hidden treasure and a forgotten Civil War mystery are waiting to be uncovered. At Indiana Caverns Family Adventure Park, your team has just 30 minutes to solve clues, uncover secrets, and locate the legendary hidden map leading to Morgan’s lost treasure.
Perfect for families, friends, tourists, and adventure seekers, this immersive escape room combines local Indiana history, treasure hunting, puzzles, teamwork, and fast-paced fun into one unforgettable experience.
Whether you're visiting during summer vacation, a weekend getaway, or a family road trip, Morgan’s Lost Gold delivers a one-of-a-kind adventure unlike any other attraction in southern Indiana.
After crossing the Ohio River and capturing the steamboat Alice Dean, Confederate General John Hunt Morgan and his raiders entered southern Indiana during one of the most famous Civil War raids in American history. Corydon, Indiana became Morgan’s first target in Union territory.
Following a fierce battle just east of present-day Indiana Caverns, Morgan’s troops stormed into Corydon, looting banks, merchants, and businesses throughout the town.
Legend says Morgan’s men escaped with millions in gold, silver, and greenbacks… but not all of it ever made it out.
According to stories passed down through generations, Confederate soldiers hid a massive portion of the treasure deep within nearby Binkley Cave.
The only clue to the treasure’s location?
A 164-year-old map supposedly hidden inside the mysterious Old Caver’s cabin.
Now it’s your turn to uncover the truth.
Can your team locate the hidden clues, solve the mystery, and recover the lost treasure before time runs out?
