Indiana Caverns Bat Chaser combines zip lining and a steel rail coaster in a family-friendly experience 

It is only the second ride of its kind in the United States and first in the Midwest. Our suspended, single rail zip coaster will take you soaring through the treetops and over the sinkhole plain of Indiana’s cave country.

What are the height and weight restrictions?

At least 75 pounds and 52 inches.

You currently have to be at least 75 pounds, but no greater than 260.

You also need to be at least 52 inches (4′, 4″), but no greater than 79 inches (6′, 7″).

The Gift Shop Is Open Until 6:00 PM • Tour Ticket Sales Close At 5:00 PM On Weekdays And 5:30 PM On Weekends.


Spring And Fall Tour Ticket Sales Close At 4:30 On Weekends.

What if it is raining?

Enjoy a Cave Tour instead!

Unfortunately, the Bat Chaser is closed when it rains or when lightning is present. But you can still enjoy a Cave Tour underground during these times.

Can I buy tickets online?

Yes!

Yes, up to 11 Tickets! 

Individuals may buy up to 11 tickets online. Show your receipt at the counter to receive your actual tickets and launch time.

Groups of over 10 people should make advance reservations by phone (for single or combo tickets) to park attractions.

Advance Tickets Are Not Required And Are Available For Purchase Upon Arrival For Groups Of 11 Or Less.

How Are Riders Secured?

Comfortable Seat Harness

All riders are situated in comfortable seat hardness. After a safety check, riders take off from atop a 50-foot tower overlooking Indiana Caverns and then twist and turn 603 feet through a grove of large trees, ending up near the base of their original starting point.

The Bat Chaser and Plunge are both weather dependent rides. Temperatures below 50F, wind, precipitation and lightning are all factors that can affect the Bat Chaser and Plunge attractions. See above for hours.
